Lab Tests
We routinely use the following tests to help find the root causes of our patients' health issues:
Adrenal Hormone Testing
This test examines levels of cortisol and DHEA, two hormones produced by the adrenal glands that may become imbalanced when we experience chronic stress. The resulting imbalances in these hormones are associated with conditions ranging from chronic fatigue, depression, and immune deficiency to increased risk of cardiovascular disease and obesity.
Female Hormone Testing
This test evaluates female hormone balance and metabolism. Appropriate for both pre-and post-menopausal women.
Male Hormone Testing
This test provides an overview of male hormone and sex steroid balance and metabolism.
Bone Resorption Assessment
This test measures biochemical indicators of bone loss. The presence of these markers is useful in evaluating rate of bone loss, lytic bone disease, and the efficacy of treatments and therapies used for osteoporosis.
Vitamin D Levels
Vitamin D is produced in the skin during exposure to sunlight, or consumed in the diet. Vitamin D influences bone and mineral homeostasis as well as immunity and mental-emotional health. Vitamin D insufficiency has been associated with osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and auto-immune disease.
Food Sensitivity Testing
Blood test to ascertain levels of IgG food and spice antibodies. The presence of specific IgG antibodies are used to confirm a suspected allergy or sensitivity.
Thyroid Panel
This test analyzes serum levels of thyroid hormones and antibodies indicating autoimmune related thyroid conditions.
Comprehensive Stool Culture
This test evaluates digestion and absorption, gut flora and microbes, parasites, yeast and immune function. This test is recommended for evaluating the gastro-intestinal health of patient’s with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, indigestion, malabsorption, acute bowel movement pattern changes, systemic disease and other gastrointestinal conditions.
Celiac & Gluten Sensitivity
Evaluation of immune markers that may indicate possible celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
Organic Acids
Evaluates imbalances of vitamins, minerals, nutrients and biochemical co-factors, as well as any gastrointestinal dysfunction and impairment of detoxification processes. Assesses digestion, absorption, metabolic impairments, antioxidant levels, oxidative injury, and nutritional deficits.
Heavy Metals & Toxic Elements
Measures the excretion of toxic heavy metals and elements such as lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, copper, zinc, and chromium.
Comprehensive Cardiovascular RIsk Evaluation
Measures lipid markers and independent risk factors that may indicate the susceptibility that a patient may have for developing cardiovascular disease. This test also assesses a patient’s genetic predisposition for cardiovascular disease. The Comprehensive Cardiovascular Assessment will show the biochemical and genetic factors associated with the development of cardiovascular disease including lipid deposition, endothelial dysfunction, inflammation, and clotting factors.
Lyme and Other TIc Related Disease Testing
Testing for Lyme disease and co-infections such as Babesia, Ehrlichia, and Bartonella. The panel screens for exposure to Lyme disease as well as Lyme disease antibodies. Additional specific tests for the presence of Lyme disease (PCR test) are included in the panel (if antibodies for Lyme disease are not made by the patient).
DOT Drug Testing Specimen Collection
We are a collection site for DOT urine drug testing and saliva alcohol testing.

- Cardio Health: Evaluates genetic variations in genes that modulate blood pressure, blood lipids, nutrient metabolism, inflammation and oxidative stress.
- Detox Pathways: Evaluates genetic variations in genes that are involved in the production of detoxification pathway enzymes. Helps identify risk factors and patients susceptible to adverse drug reactions.
